Veneers are very fine, thin sections of porcelain shaped to fit exactly over the front surface of a tooth. Veneers are ideal for disguising large fillings in the upper front teeth or for covering over a dark or discoloured tooth/teeth. Veneers can sometimes be used to help disguise crooked upper teeth.
Veneers are sometimes available on the NHS although many patients opt to pay a little more to ensure a fantastic aesthetic result and a higher quality porcelain.
